Things have been so busy lately!! I never thought I would be the kind of person to say that. I do enjoy having things to do because it makes me appreciate the relaxing times so much more.
I have been working full time, and it's like the place has exploded. I am always exhausted when I get home from work. I've also been taking a math class, which lets just say...I hate! -And I really suck at it too! I will be lucky to pass! We are still currently seeing the chiropractor for our car accident injuries... It has resulted in a lot of testing for me. I had an x-ray, 2 MRI's, and an awfully painful spinal injection that only provided relief for about a week. The sad part is that we still haven't gotten any real answers as to why I'm in so much pain all the time. This is pain that I've dealt with since I was a lil high school freshman. I quit dancing a lot earlier than I wanted to and I've been a lot less physically active than I want to be since then. The ironic thing is that the 2nd MRI ended up showing that I have a pretty big cyst near my ovaries. That was definitely an unexpected result! To be quite honest, it really freaks me out. The rational part of me knows everything has a 90% of being fine.. but that 10% still haunts me. It just means more doctor appointments--lucky me! The MRI also showed that my muscles are pulling up off of my hips and my joints are a little inflamed. I did a lot of research today and I'm thinking that the most likely offender is something autoimmune like rheumatoid arthritis. All in all, I would just like to figure out what's going on and get it treated.
Craig is still working the swing shift. He's had a lot of good scores on his calls lately, which means that he is moving on up. He's more likely to get a position he applies for. No one would be happier than I, if he were to get a day position.
A few weeks ago we were able to go down to St George for some much needed relaxation. We enjoyed the warm weather and were able to attend the temple. On our way back home we stopped off in Zion's with the intention of hiking Angel's Landing. Unfortunately I was only in flip flops and the sign said the hike was very windy and icy. We ended up just hiking the Emerald Pools hike, which was fun and beautiful.
