It's been a really busy two weeks. I feel like our car accident was months ago. We've been able to take my car to the shop, get a rental (twice), see the chiropractor six times, and continue work and school(for me). I wouldn't say that we are REALLY injured, but our necks and backs are giving us issues. We both agree that we don't necessarily think we need to keep going to the chiropractor three times a week, but we will continue to tolerate it because we do get free massages once a week. However, I learned on Tuesday that with whatever my injuries are, the massage is anything but relaxing and pleasant. Ahh the joys of car accidents...
On a brighter note, we celebrated our 6 month anniversary by going out to dinner and to the Jazz vs Sacramento(Jimmer) game in SLC. We went to my fave- Tepanyaki and it was delicious as it always is! The game was really fun to watch because everyone seemed to have an opinion, good and bad, about Jimmer playing. Every time someone passed him the ball, you could hear booing and cheering at the same time. There were even a few people around us arguing and name calling at one another over it. Every time Jimmer did score though, all you heard was cheering. It was as if the Jazz had scored. It was a tight game the whole time, leading up to the last few minutes where Jimmer was passed the ball in order to make a game winning shot... well with our hearts in our throats we watched as he "air-balled" it, which ended in the Jazz winning the game. We had so much fun and even ended up with matching Jazz jerseys of players that are no longer on the team. ;-)
On another note, Leo is getting fixed and declawed next week. Craig and I have agonized over declawing him because it sounds so barbaric and sad. He doesn't do too bad with furniture and he has learned to play soft, without using his claws... so we'll see if we follow through with it. I had to take him today to get his first shots and that was stressful enough!!
